Empower the Dream ” Drum Major Service”

–Sunday, January 15, 2017; 2:00 PM “Empower the Dream” Drum Major Ecumenical Service. The Pacific Youth Choir will render music,  and we will have a panel discussion on “Where Do We Go From Here: Conversation to Solutions”

The following panelists have confirmed:

Rabbi Michael Z. Cahana;Urban League President, Nkenge Harmon Johnson; U.S. Attorney, Bill Williams; Portland Police Chief Mike Marshman; District Attorney Rod Underhill; Jan Elfers from Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO); we are awaiting confirmation from members of the following organizations: Wajdi Said, of the Muslim Educational Trust; Kim Dixon of Enough is Enough; Greg McElvey of Portland’s Resistance; and Minister Nathaniel Williams of Unify Portland. It will be a wonderful and memorable time. Your attendance will be rewarded with an abundance of information, community networking opportunities, and an overall great time with some of our Community Leaders.
